Help me out here, Gents….

Can anyone tell me the list of personal equipment currently issued to (US or UK) troops on deployment? Or give me a link to a site which would?

The latest list I can find in any game materials is the one from "Twighlight 2000", which was written circa 1980, and doesn't include things like night vision equipment, or up-to-date body armour.

This has a four page listing detailing MOLLE and personal weapon systems, plus links to articles about Future Warrior etc.

80% of which is collecting dust under my bed. So I am probably forgetting stuff for the list but I'm not willing to open the bags to look at it all. The Army is currently issuing more stuff then you could ever use. Hardly bringing any personal items I had a Foot locker, Ruck Sack, and 4 Duffle Bag to get it all here.

Cheers, Gents; great link from Jim, and kudos to MP Deputy for going to the trouble.

In the early '80s, Citadel produced a figure called 'The Compleat Adventurer', who was struggling beneath the weight of a massive backpack, pouches, sacks, half-a-dozen weapons, and piles of loose equipment…. I can't picture MP Deputy without thinking of this figure!
