Yeah, I like the blonde "Indian".

Shoot, I remember when *all* music videos looked pretty much just like that.

Wow! It was like watching the Kenny Everett Video Show all over again. I used to stay up until 2 am to catch it on City TV (Toronto)in the early 80's. Ah, I miss Hot Gossip.

Remember, they were someone's sons and daughters. Somebody loved them.

The guy looked a lot like a young (and very stoned) Vincent Price. Dr Phiebes has the got his band back and this time he won't stop until all his enemies fall.

Vince.

Doug Henning stars in "The Magic Goes Away".

Palewarrior20 Mar 2007 1:47 p.m. PST

You know, I don't think those girls are real American Indians either.
The main guy looks like He's of a 118,118 advert (UK).

Hmmm I've actually got hair like that, just not on my head!

Major Kong20 Mar 2007 2:17 p.m. PST

Wahahahahahah! Ohh, Flintloque for the win! Heh heh.

Major Kong20 Mar 2007 2:35 p.m. PST

Seriously, man, everybody I've sent it to has sworn vendetta against me and my family. Now that's what I call video assault goodness, by the quart!

A vastly appreciative Major Kong.

Dropzonetoe Fezian20 Mar 2007 2:38 p.m. PST

I spent way to long on you tube looking for the version of that song that I know.

oh lord….
Looking at the girls makes me want to go up on ebay and bid on some old Annette Haven videos….

*sigh*

Personal logo Saginaw Supporting Member of TMP20 Mar 2007 6:49 p.m. PST

You know, the video quality is bad enough that a couple of the girls looked as though they had pasties on, instead of bikini tops.

Not that I'm complaining about that (nudge, nudge), but give me the ORIGINAL version of "Apache".

Wow. Maybe the '70s did suck after all.

Mavrides20 Mar 2007 7:21 p.m. PST

Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, …Flintlocque

Site 820 Mar 2007 9:04 p.m. PST

I see this video is now embedded. How on earth was this done? It does add a bit of color to the page. Looks nice being able to watch without having to leave TMP.

Charles Marlow20 Mar 2007 9:10 p.m. PST

lol!

freewargamesrules21 Mar 2007 3:21 a.m. PST

Now Top of the Pops wouldn't have gone to the wall if they still made videos like this!

freewargamesrules21 Mar 2007 4:06 a.m. PST

The Shadow's Apache is cited (along with most of Kraftwerk) as one of the greatest influences on the rise of HipHop in the late 70s (Grandmaster Flash, Africa Bambatta etc.)

Personal logo Murphy Sponsoring Member of TMP21 Mar 2007 8:12 a.m. PST

Worse….now it's the day after watching this and I have the damn tune going through my head at work!!!!

aecurtis Fezian21 Mar 2007 9:54 a.m. PST

Multiple scale war gamer21 Mar 2007 3:05 p.m. PST

Sooo bad….Sooo good at being bad…

Loved (not) the blonde "Native American" dancer! I really prefer brunettes…but she was sooo out of place it was worth the pain of listening to the video…Not that the lighter skinned brunette was any better. I realize that Indians (as my father called himself) come in all shades today (and probably did in the past) but this made my gut hurt as I laughed.

Date of the video?

Multiple scale war gamer21 Mar 2007 3:10 p.m. PST

Whoa, time warp – The Shadows!

cfuzwuz21 Mar 2007 6:41 p.m. PST
