Now, a riding warrior can dismount in the middle of combat. The rider's stats affect the mount's stats, and mounts and riders can be killed independently of each other. And, a rider can run across the battlefield and hop on another horse (or griffin, or salamander, or gigantic magestone-powered techno-cat). In addition, new subfactions bring new relics and another game mechanic called Items into the fray, making for the most exciting, most strategic games of Mage Knight yet.
In addition, four of the coolest characters from the Mage Knight universe are back and badder than ever: the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Now, these characters are available to all as Unique figures within the Dark Riders set, ready to add to any warlord's army.
