Mongoose was asking for more than that for some of their later B5 models. |

"I wish somebody

One of ADB's great advantages is that they licenced ST:TOS years ago, while the show was off the air and *before* the movies and TV sequels realy revitalized the franchise. I imagine at the time they paid peanuts for their licence (remember that the original SFB was a "pocket" game that sold for less than $10), which continues to allow them to produce a game based on ST:TOS, but not any other part of the franchise. |

Actually, ADB (originally Task Force Games)licensed the designs from Franz Joseph Designs; the publishers of the Star Fleet Technical Manual. Most of ADB's published material is entirely their own IP. |

"Mongoose was asking for more than that for some of their later B5 models." Were they only an inch long and single piece? |
