$20 USD for three Frigates? Ouch.

I wish somebody… anybody… would bite the bullet and just put out Movie, Next Generation and DS9 starship designs.

Come on guys… can we step away from the Space Bricks and do up some Jem'Hadar attack ships, please?

Mongoose was asking for more than that for some of their later B5 models.

Are any of these more detailed than the earlier ships? I just cant get into the blank canvas look of ADBs product.

I would imagine at this time the licence to do so would just be too expensive. One of ADB's great advantages is that they licenced ST:TOS years ago, while the show was off the air and *before* the movies and TV sequels realy revitalized the franchise. I imagine at the time they paid peanuts for their licence (remember that the original SFB was a "pocket" game that sold for less than $10), which continues to allow them to produce a game based on ST:TOS, but not any other part of the franchise.

Actually, ADB (originally Task Force Games)licensed the designs from Franz Joseph Designs; the publishers of the Star Fleet Technical Manual. Most of ADB's published material is entirely their own IP.

Were they only an inch long and single piece?
