I didn't realize Dust was doing poorly. Why would Fantasy Flight drop it otherwise?

From the story on TMP recently Dust dropped FF, not the other way around. They apparently didn't feel they were getting as much attention as they felt the game deserved and Battlefront will almost certainly give them a much broader footprint on the gaming market.

Yes, Dust has been releasing stuff like crazy but FFG hasn't been able to keep pace with marketing/advertising them to the buying public. It's time they moved on to a better partnership.

Ah, somehow I'm not surprised. I've never been terribly impressed with FF.

A hobby shop in Arizona and local gaming club has sponsored Dust Tournaments more than FFG.

I mean, Paolo Parente shows up complete with Dust Cosplay Girls and prize support includes pin-up cards of the cosplay girls that double as stat cards for the game.

Clearly Parente is feeling that FFG is not doing enough to promote Dust which has been releasing product like crazy recently. While X-Wing plods along with a handful of releases and has tourney events.

Personally I hope the Battlefront distributes more of Dust Models products that you currently can only get directly from Dust Models in Hong Kong, like decals and accessory sets.
