Thanks for the reply, we've tried to keep our shipping prices as low as we can even with all of the increased costs at the US end. Our current rates are really more accurate for Canada, Australia, etc so with US postage costing us about 20%-30% more than those countries now, we're losing money on the majority of packages to the States. We did have to adopt pricing bands for the new website as it couldn't work on a percentage based system, but we tried to keep them about the same as before where we could. A set of these new buildings would have been £5.00 GBP shipping on the old site but it's £8.00 GBP on the new site so a few $'s more. We were losing money on those old prices though and they needed to be updated. Two sets of these buildings would have been £10.00 GBP on the old site versus £12.00 GBP on the new, so it's only a small increase on larger orders. |
