"Holy moly, he's a retailer??? And look who he stocks:" If true, I wonder if a few manufacturer to manufacturer or manufacturer to distributor emails/calls about the store owner's recasting practices would get the people currently doing business with him to cut him off? |

don't count on eBay. They are pretty useless. |

"Holy moly, he's a retailer??? And look who he stocks:" If I understood him correctly when I talked to him on the phone, he does not have a brick and mortar store, only net. My policy is not to sell to "net only" stores. "don't count on eBay. They are pretty useless." eBay actually seems pretty good about removing copyright violations if you fax them the proper forms. |

Despite what ebay has become there are still a lot of great dealers with sterling reputations selling there. Its just there are more scumbags now making it harder to sort out who is who. I've pretty much made all the professional contacts I have thru ebay. Now I either work for them direct or buy direct from them. Its still a very good tool for this small industry. |

If you have issues with the Attorney General's office in Nevada let me know. I work about 3 blocks from them (in Carson City about 8 hours from Pahrump), and if they don't respond I will cut off their internet access ;). |

"wouldnt it be better for the industry if people bought directly from the companies or their certified dealers?" Wouldn't it be better for the automobile industry if the 2nd hand market didn't exist? (This is actually debatable) Recasting for sale is a criminal violation and should be stopped (for personal use _may_ be legal in certain jurisdictions — as always, check you local laws). It's also bad for the honest sellers who want to offload old stuff to finance new. |

okay, now i am confused. weewarrior.com is a company based in Spain and run by felix Garzon. Wee Warrior Games buys his stock from Wolf Miniatures (Jesus Serrano) as far as i know he has no link with Nevada. This other guy is in NEvada USA. is there a link or is it just another company entirely. i thought it was a separate company until someone mentioned above that they emailed the company in Spain regarding missing items. |

" (recasting) for personal use _may_ be legal in certain jurisdictions — as always, check you local laws" Probably not, there is fairly good protection for copyright in most modern countries these days, so best off assuming that copying other peoples stuff is wrong and not to do it. Sorry, I see the 'it might be legal' opinion as opening the door to a newbie who does not know better. |
mrshasslefree | 31 Jul 2006 2:39 a.m. PST |
also the Spanish company doesnt sell on Ebay, so it looks like we may have a cross-over here of two separate traders |

I think as Sally says the burning brands of the witch-hunt are being pointed in the wrong direction. The Spanish site is not as far as I can see implicated with any accusations of recasting. The villain of the piece is the weewarriors ebay id in the USA. |

Okay, here's the e-mail I received from Wee Warrior Games after dealing with Migmateii on ebay: "Hi there! According to our files, we got an order from you in the Ebay identity "Migmateii". That Ebay account will be closed for a couple days due to a small hiccup with an invoice BUT if you need to get in touch please feel free to use this address to contact us (admin@weewarrior.com) According to our files we do not have any pending shipments nor refunds: if you are waiting for any of both from us please do not hesitate to get in touch. Our web-shop at weewarrior.com has NOT been affected and it is operating normally. Once again, thank you very much for your order and our apologies for this problem. Best regards Wee Warrior Games Your Fantasy and Sci-Fi Miniatures Specialist Online WeeWarrior.com I may have pointed out the wrong guys
but the connection Weewarriors-Wee Warrior Games-Migmateii seemed strong to me (especially with the recasting). I hope there is no connection. |

"The same Felix Garzon who was blamed for the bankruptcy of i-Kore?" Probably, as he's also the guy who blew Warzone/Target by selling directly to shops in Europe, therefore causing the importers/distributors to "dump" all their stuff onto the market aswell at ridiculously low prices
A shame I wasn't into Warzone at the tme :-( |

i just took a look, and i think that some of his re-casts right now are from Ground Zero Games ( i recognize the sets), and they do have a loooot of flash on them
kinda suspicious

Man, I would NEVER order from tha Weewarrior.com site— there is absolutely NO address or phone number anywhere to be found but only web addresses. Even if it isn't the same guy from eBay that web site seems very suspicious to me! |

mrshasslefree | 31 Jul 2006 3:01 p.m. PST |
felix has indeed stepped forward and taken a lot of the blame for I-Kore but you have to remember that there were two other partners
..John Robertson & John grant that also hold a lot of responsibility for its demise. After how I-kore treated Kev during its final 6 months you have to ask yourself why i am sticking up for the Felix. Perhaps things went on that i cant discuss but mean the blame could be shifted elsewhere?? Either way, yes he made mistakes but sometimes if it looks like a lesson has been learnt then maybe the person should indeed be treated very carefully but maybe given the benefit of the doubt occassionally? Target games UK was shut down by the parent company in Sweden after it decided that Target wasnt turning enough of a profit overall to make it viable. However the Target office that both Kev and Felix worked at was probably the most profitable of all the Target branches. Kev doesnt know anything about stock being dumped. The problems with Warzone/missing greens/stuff not handed over
you need to speak to two other people about that! As far as i am aware, Felix has moved back to his native Spain to start his life afresh. From conversations with him i can honestly say that he regrets what happened and want to put it behind him. And to be quite honest you have to give him credit for having the guts to stand up and face the music when others sloped off and continued the same behaviour but elsewhere. the only connection i can see is in the name and Felix assures me that this guy in Nevada USA has nothing to do with him or his company. Jesus Serrano supplies the HF stock to Felix and is also working with him on a number of other areas. I can say that personally i have had no issues with either of these men when dealing with them. I know that i cant speak for others who may have outstanding issues but at least i have put across my side. Perhaps i am being naieve?? time will tell if i end up with egg on my face **really hope not**!! I really dont think that turning this into a 'Felix' witchhunt will solve the issues with the recaster in Nevada, all i think it is doing is diverting anger from a situation that we feel powerless to stop over to someone who has already paid for his crimes. |

You beat me to it, Sally
Felix has been blamed for a lot of thing he did not did while at I-kore, but that's always very convenient and quite welcome to certain people. Now, Félix and Garzón are pretty comon names, not only in Spain, but in the whole of Latin America
In a business guide I have for the city of Maddid I counted 15 Felixes
In one from Sevilla, there were 7, in one from Barcelona 17
So, if Félix Garzón (Kev's former colleague and Ikore's "wrongdoer") stands up and accepts his guilt in some of the many Ikore issues, I don't see why based on former and partial informations people feel the need to link him to this sad case of IP stealing. "Witchhunt" is quite a well-coined term in this case, me thinks. |

Mind me grammer not, kinds gentlemens. Seems I left it at home. |

Mrs Hasslefree, I'm not trying to get Felix Garzon on a stake or something nor do I want to suggest he's the evil genius behind the Weewarriors.com recastingfraud. Obo the Warzone dump, you should talk to PS Games in Holland ( their former Dutch distributor ) to get filled in. I've spoken a couple of times to Felix on the phone and had a few dealings with him while at Ikore. The only thing I can accuse him of is being "rather talkative" aswell as overoptimistic. A very nice guy, but that doesn't make any difference about his Target & Ikore acting
Nevertheless I hope he's learned from the past and I wish him all the best with his new enterprise. |

Just to confirm – Wee Warriors Games (Felix Garzon) has no connection with eBay seller weewarriors. |
