Ambitious.
But it's good to have a plan.
And I like what I'm seeing so far.

Looking forward to Phase 4 and the French Revolution.

War of 1812 stuff will be really great.I currently have OG15,Minifig and Falcon in my collection. Is there any chance for casualties for American Rev? I like the odd casualty figure for status markers.

So far from Blue Moon I have collected many sets from the Darkest Africa, FIW, and Horror ranges. I've been keeping my eye on the Napoleonic figures and I'm very interested in the War of 1812. Once British Rifles are released I'll invest in some for games of Sharpe Practice.

I like what is being planned, plenty of things to look forward to. Bring on 2014 and the French Revolutionary figs! Thank you Blue Moon for the insight into the future.

Thanks – its time for me to get back into Napoleonics – looking to do the Pennisula up right.

Will begin to put my list together – seems I still have some time to wait.

It seems I overlooked WW1 in the above annoucement -- a nice release for this is in the molding process at this very minute and we will continue to add more here and there.

I can only hope there will be Upper Canadian Militia In Heroic Poses for the War of 1812.

Along with proper US Marines. And similar lovely things.

Because if I have to divest myself of all the 25mm figures I've bought and painted, especially the Old Glory figures I've "modified" for Runchey's Coloured Corps and other Upper Canadian Militia, I only want The Best in return…

And this ain't gonna be cheap.

Congratulations on the long range plan. It looks like you have set the goal of a truly comprehensive range!

Spain has not appeared on the website yet but 2012 is not even 2 months old. Does Blue Moon consider Spain a major or minor power?

Look forward to seeing lots of new releases.

2014 & the French Rev period releases might be too far away to save my interest in 15's, but I look forward to seeing what they do with the line.

I realize this topic pertains mainly to Napoleonics but for those going to Cold Wars what can one expect to see as well as to be able to purchase in regards to the other areas or periods listed?

Well, I for one, didn't miss this notice.

Is this just the historical schedule rundown? No word of more Galactic War scifi releases or Gothic Horror or even more superhero figs?

Lannes24 Feb 2012 9:54 a.m. PST

SYW? In particular French?

Old Glory Sponsoring Member of TMP24 Feb 2012 3:35 p.m. PST

No SYW on the drawing boards. Eureka just come out with some really nice French for SYW.

Could I make two suggestions about your standard bearers (both in this and other ranges)?

1) The only serious criticism I have come across about the actual sculpting of your figures is the "telegraph pole" flag staffs (pole arms for officers and sergeants, by contrast, are very nicely done). Have you considered leaving the standard bearers open-handed, providing wire poles, and making a range of appropriate finials (spear point – both plain and with cords/cravats, French/Italian/Polish eagles, horse (Naples), etc)?

2) All your standard bearers seem to be sculpted with right hand high, left hand low (or just right hand high if wearing a colour belt). Is the sculptor left-handed? I ask because it is an un-natural way for a right-handed person to hold such an object; normally, one would use the right hand at the bottom of the staff to provide a solid base. In the case of Napoleonic figures, in battle the right hand high pose would prevent the bearer from drawing his sword. A left hand high, right hand low combination would not only look more natural, it would also allow customers to find other uses for these figures as there are often one or two of them left over – eg an FIW or AWI ensign can be given a musket in his right hand and used as an extra company officer (and/or NCO in the case of AWI figures).

Otherwise, good effort thus far.

And when would one expect to see Napoleonic Danish troops Russ? Early/mid/late 2013?

OldGlory Andy27 Feb 2012 5:01 a.m. PST

And of course I'll be carrying all the historicals for the UK and Europe. As has been said Spanish and portugese Naps are on the cards for we Peninsular chaps. The Spanish "Project list" will be substantial once its finalised.
