Sturer Emil? And it's not even April 1! grin

This will not do the defenders of Flames of War any good, as we try to argue that it's a "historical" rules set. grin

When is the book on Harry Turtkledove's Lizard tanks coming out?

durn pigeons sittin' on top of my tank.

These are all historical tanks, just with only very limited deployment, or none at all.

Loving some of the stuff yet to come, like the KV5 and the TOG.

for me this is a turn off.. yes nice models etc.. but I've no use of them in a game!

Very nice. Finally a reason to get into FoW!
I am really looking forward to the Mid-War Monsters releases!

Hopefully they will be doing a similar late war product. E-100, Maus, Flak Panther etc comes to my mind.

Agis N – Peter Pig does a Maus in 15mm (or at least they did at one time). I own 2 of them and they are fantastic beasts…they have never seen deployment though :(. E series vehicles would be nice.

@ Moonbeast – I was more referring to a late war "What If" rulebook from FoW…
PP Maus: Yes they do and it is rather nice. I also got one, see here:

(Scroll a a bit down and you see the Maus beside a Gear Krieg Walker!)
I had great fun playing with these models during playtest for my upcoming WaW Gear Krieg book!
(Who cares what was deployed BTW, it is all gaming after all…)
;-) ;-)

But I have to agree that a decent 15mm E-Series model line would be very welcome!

I am a fan of FoW, I am not however in any way a fan of Mid War Madness. I suppose if I was doing a LW Italain force some of the models may find a use and I did rather fancy trying the Panzer I F before the whole MWM thing reared its ugly head.

The worst of it for me is that for several of the vehicles that actually saw action in limited numbers the pack you have to buy contains more than were ever built in reality :(

@Agis N – Fantastic paint jobs, especially the Donner and Uller, I have a platoon of each myself.I'm looking forward to your Gear Krieg book.

Thanks Moonbeast!
I am also really looking forward to this book release. Gear Krieg was the first of the weird war settings and in my opinion is still the best setting. I bought every Gear Krieg book as soon as it came out, so call me a fan boy! To now be able to add a bit to this wonderful game universe is both a blessing and a real challenge to me.
Right now we are in the middle of the layout, so hopefully more soon.
And one or two Midwar Monster vehicles will not hurt a game of Gear Krieg! :-)

I'm looking forward to Agis' Gear Krieg book…
