This may be the spur I need to get my interest shifted back to Napoleonics.

I thank you. My wife may not. grin

Besides Great Britain, no nation was more implacably opposed to Napoleonic France than Russia.

I suspect the Austrians might dispute that statement…

A fine gesture from Uniformology though.

Applause to Uniformology. Nice to see SOMETHING responding to the shift in the world's financial fortunes.
As for the Austrians… they only decided to join in in 1813 after everyone else had been picked for the sides!

I concur in the applause to Uniformology. I only hope that their customer service has improved as well? Anyone dealt with them lately? I had pretty much resigned myself to the idea that the only way to get their undoubtedly-fine products was through their distributors, rather than "risking" a direct order. Am I wrong?

We only sell prints and postcards directly. Except for extremely rare occasions, our books are only available for sale through our dealers. Check out our website!

Who the heck had Napoleon been fighting intermittently in Europe for the past decade then?

The battle of Wagram, among others, would have been a less bloody affair if 130,000 Austrians hadn't turned up.

Or am I missing a rather obvious 'joke'?
