Lovely, Russ can I ask if the US/Mex range is on course ? Also totally unrelated having been hooked by the Blue Moon ranges I really want to do the ECW, I think a range was mentioned as a possibility, Russ give me something to cling to !!

The US?Mex war is being sculpted as we speak --- English cival war (for sure unless the end of the world or I die or something like that happens) sometime in the next couple years. want to get alot more Napoleonic war and Seven years war done first.
Also Zulu wars in the beginning stage just now.

Yes, alot of product coming out fron Blue Moon. A great scale for massed battle, great prices, great figs that are as good as 28s and complete lines finished in our lifetimes.

Like the looks of those figures. : )

So many Dunaway posts in one thread! Can we get one more? How's progress on the Boxer Rebellion and the Legation buildings, well, progressing?

I'm somewhat tempted by the AWI figures, too, but not sure if they'd match well with the ones I already have (4000 +), most of the infantry from Musket Miniatures and most of the cavalry from Freikorps (QRF) including the dismounts (always use matching dismounts with my AWI cavalry!).

So, last question, are the AWI figures on the larger size like most of the other Blue Moon 15/18 mm figures – and that's an anyone who knows question, not just those fabulous folks the Dunaways. (are there sculpts of those two?)

Old Glory Sponsoring Member of TMP21 Apr 2014 9:59 p.m. PST

Boxer rebellion and legations are on the definite list to do --along with the great wall in foam. Just running behind.
The AWI figures are the larger scale 15/18mm that is popular today.

Here are the Blue Moon future release plans.

Mex/Amer war --sculpting/molding started
Zulu wars --sculpting/molding started
Mad Anthony wayne – fallen timbers campaign -Sculpting/molding started
Continue the 7 years war
Continue the Nappies = endless
Early Imperial Rome and her enemies
English Cival war
Boxer rebellion
Gladiators with foam arena
Crimean war = not the current one
Always adding to existing range = Apaches due for the wild west soon.

I would say this is about a two year list to finish not counting the Napoleonics that will just roll on and on and on …..
Remember -- Blue Moon does not just do a box here and there -- we complete whole ranges.

What are the current priorities in the Napoleonics range?

Russ

Any ETA on the remaining codes that are not yet released from the ACW range?

Thanks

The Mexican War, Fallen Timbers, and Boxer Rebellion are all on my radar.

pegasusfridge22 Apr 2014 5:11 a.m. PST

Hi Russ

My apologies I missed the announcement and was looking at old glory UK site where they show as unavailable I still.

Disco Joe22 Apr 2014 6:22 a.m. PST

Russ, any chance of coming out with the buildings you stated that you were going to do for Goliad and San Antonio for the Texas War of Independence range?

Old Glory Sponsoring Member of TMP22 Apr 2014 7:00 a.m. PST

Like I said, All the ranges will be added to and completed as we cycle back to them just as we have just done with the AWI.
The major armies of nappies will be finished first --then confederation and smaller nations, allies at waterllo, etc.

Russ Dunaway

I am really looking forward to seeing the 1805 Russian Generals and staff when they do them. Hopefully not far away Russ.

Old Glory Sponsoring Member of TMP22 Apr 2014 8:01 a.m. PST

All of the Nappie generals are being sculpted right now as we speak along with all of the limbers, cassons, teams etc.

sorry Russ, I feel kind of responsible for the barrage of questions ! Anyway can't wait for the ECW, I can just imagine Blue Moon doing a great job on them ( Don't forget to do Clubmen/armed peasants !) Waynes legion is a real bonus too !!

Fotherington Thrip22 Apr 2014 4:23 p.m. PST

How nice it is to hear a manufacturer say 'yep, sculpting that right now and doing this'.

Good on you Russ.

No trouble at all folks.

Was always hoping the Wars of Religion figures Old Glory did in 28 mm would be done in 18mm so I could do Lord Kalvin of Otherwhen someday.

OldGlory Andy23 Apr 2014 3:50 a.m. PST

For Brits and European- the Colonila guns are on order as are the SYW Russians and these new AWI French- hope to have them for Triples in May .
Its all about timing- the guns didn't come out until AFTER I'd orderd the last shipment so they have to wait until the next one in default of Star Trek technology but I carry all the Blue Moon historicals as stock as they come out given that proviso .
I can also get the buildings and sci- fi ranges as special orders- and perhaps in time will carry the SCI -FI if I can find the space ….
