Kudos to Frothers for putting this on. I don't know the participants, and I can't afford the auction, but I applaud the amount of work being put into this by all parties and I wish them success. Wyatt |

Thanks Wyatt, we'll post an announcement after the last auction is over with the winners and the totals raised for charity etc. With the massive success and the likelihood that somebody related to us will be running the Race for Life every year we hope to make it an annual event. |

FU-UK? what an unfortunate set of initials for this company |

I suspect that the initials are intentional – Frothers has a lot of 'blue' language. But this is for a great cause – and the prizes are wonderful! |

Can you post a direct link to the auction? I'm lost on the FU-UK site. |

We have a last minute addition from Germy to the auction, 3 Limited Edition Salute miniatures. SALUTE 04's Hannibal, SALUTE 05's George and the Dragon and SALUTE 09's Zulu. |

FU-UK? what an unfortunate set of initials for this company Frothers Unite! – UK. Not a company, just another miniatures-appreciating site. I suspect it was deliberate; they're a pretty free-wheeling forum over there. Wish I could afford to bid in the auctions, and I certainly wish everyone the best of luck. Sort of wish that the lots had been broken down more, as there are things I might have been able to swing in smaller groups, and some things I've no interest in. But I don't think it was meant to take off the way it did, with so many Frothers donating to the original auction lot. |

If it does become an Annual thing Neotacha then we'll be more prepared for it taking off than we were this year. There was only supposed to be the one auction but Dags was a bit too persuasive and it got too big too fast, then apparently i was a bit too persuasive and we got so much stuff again that even splitting up into 4 more auctions was probably still overkill :) Should this go ahead next year we'll probably have one big auction and then lots of smaller ones depending on people's generosity. |
