Now why would anoyone need one of these??? I simply can't imagine any use for it whatsoever! Does it come with a small, 25mm scale bag of sand? Nice! |

Too cool! Definitely on my list of "must buys". Instead of a light base, I think I'll hollow it out with a Dremel and install a small LED flashlight, something like this: link |

A crystal skull, sitting untouched on a stone plinth for hundreds or thousands of years. Hmmm

I crept up on just such a skull once, avoiding the many traps and triggers along the way
just to have it ask me, as I got very close and reached my hand out, "yes, may I help you with something?" It was very embarrassing, really. |

Something I always wondered
if Indy was worried that something was going to happen – and rightly so – when he removed the idol, why not tie a rope to it, get well OUT of the room, and then reel it in? Anything that prevented the idol from being pulled to you would probably have trapped or killed you, so you'd have your life if not the prize! |

So what is the price of this and do you have any US retailers? |

Something I always wondered
Simple: He didn't want to scratch or dent it. Do you know the depreciation on a "scratch & dent" idol? :P Or, the answer I always give my family when they ask why characters in movies do silly things: "Because the director told him to do that."
Zen (BTW, Disco Joe: I can't speak for Black Cat or give you any idea about this piece in particular, but I know that Rattle Head Games sells Black Cat products here in the States
and I can highly recommend them, as I've bought from them several times.) |

Simple: He didn't want to scratch or dent it. Isn't the more likely answer that, if you tie a rope to a small object and then walk away holding the rope, you will probably shift the object (either while tying it tight or letting out the length of rope), and shifting the object is what triggers the defenses? |
