Look awesome!

How would the 28mm work for 40mm?

Leon Pendraken Sponsoring Member of TMP08 Oct 2018 1:57 p.m. PST

I think they'd be too small unfortunately, the 28mm ones are on the smaller side so that they'd fit with 25mm's as well. You might get away with it on the smaller animals like cats/rabbits/chickens, etc.

WarWizard08 Oct 2018 2:22 p.m. PST

Yes, try using O scale animals with for 40MM.

I use Goats as "Shaken" status markers for my troops, and I use Chickens as "Routing" status markers… Just sayin', these are great for keeping your table clear of more intrusive, less desirable markers for unit statuses. Goats and Chickens blend in naturally, on the battlefield, compared to red pipe cleaners, and such. Cheers!

Mmmmm…very interesting. Great idea!

I would be happy to see some aurochs in 15mm.

The 10mm photo shows three different breeds of dogs. Do the dog packages for 28mm have 1o dogs, all of one breed, or are they three different breeds?

What, no llamas? ;)

They look great!

@ Aurochs:

No plans at the moment I'm afraid!

@ Grelber:

The 10mm ones have got more varieties as we already had several dogs dotted about the Pendraken ranges which we put into a single pack. The 15mm/20mm/28mm versions are all a single pose/breed.

@ panzerCDR:

Not currently, if sales are good though who knows!

Sgt Slag thanks for that neat tip.

Llamas and Aurochs would be great. These look great and I hope to get the 15's when they come out.
Would the African zoo animals also be done in 15mm?

@ deflatermouse:

It'll depend on the sales to be honest. We had a great response to the 10mm's when we launched those through Pendraken, so we were able to expand and do the more recent sets of African and English countryside animals.

If the these 15mm/20mm/28mm's sell well, then we'll be able to do something similar and add more sculpts.

FWIW, some draft animals in 28mm would be awesome. Oxen, mules and horses that could be used with carts, wagons, and such. There are some really great wagons, carts and other kits available, but no one seems to make the animals needed to pull them.

We've not got any immediate plans for draft animals, but it's something to consider for the future. Colonel Bill's does a nice range of those though, so that might be a quicker option for now: link
