Looks good!

Will there be ones textured for VSF structures and spacecraft, or alien ones?

Thanks
Terry

these look good.

I know there is not many but please ditch the skulls, also is it just platforms? I see no windows or doors to make it a proper structure.

Windows, doors, taller walls, taller doors, more accessories and new themes (cleaner ones more sci-fi) are coming don't worry. We will have a whole bunch of new images on the KS, and we have many stored. It all depends on the pledges we get how much we can develop, first steel mold has been paid and first casts are coming in a few weeks…

I like the skulls, personally- they're not overdone, and lend a nice bit of dark character.

Rather like the scenery concept as a whole, as well, especially now knowing that windows, doors, etc. are on the way.

Too many skulls.

rolljordan18 May 2013 2:22 p.m. PST

Roosta no worries is the only wall that has skulls…

Got to agree, the skulls are not my thing but I'm keen on this project.

Ratbone18 May 2013 4:13 p.m. PST

Skulls should be optional, there are enough of them available elsewhere.

I won't buy any piece that has a skull on it. YMMV but for "hard" sci-fi and even for Star Wars type sci-fi they are beyond the pale.

No skulls. If you made it more industrial, it could fit in many more time frames and games.

As said before, skulls are easy to find if you need that look. But starting a company to create good terrain for sci-fi, I think you would want to cater to the most people.

I wish you lots of success.

Ah, no 15mm?

Someone mentioned dungeons… I hope there is a fantasy version! :)
In for early bird.

No problem with the skulls from me these are clearly aimed at the 40K/necromunda crowd which I'm guessing outnumbers the hard sci-fi crowd by some margain (maybe not on TMP but hobby wise). They look like a nice alterantive to GW gothic scenery for 40K.

Ditch the skulls.

If you think that skulls will really sell the product to people who are already brain washed into only buying 'official' products, make a blank 'logo' space then provide stick on skulls, arrows, globes/planetoids, spaceships etc. so buyers can choose.

I saw them and immediately thought "AHA! Necromunda and FIBUA terrain!"

I can get hard SF stuff lots of places. But this looks great. *goes to check Maki Games' site*
