Flatcon is a blast, if anyone is able to make it I suggest they try, I'll be running a 25mm skirmish pirates game Saturday afternoon and the starship troopers game is a must see!

We (Wargames @ Nordalia.com) donated our Perry ACW figures to the show for either a door prize or auction… So if these interest you – link drop by and try to get them! The proceeds go to Gamers for a Cure, so you'll be getting figures, giving money to a good cause, and be one of the few people who owns items painted for review at Wargames @ Nordalia (there are currently three, not counting staff).

Any idea on attendance on this?

Ed, Check out their site, I was there with my local game store I work at and saw a lot of people coming and going. Was a very good week-end for us as a store.

last year attendance was in the light 400s I think.

Also, look at the kid with the curly hair, that's MY boy shootin' up some bugs…

That is a COOL photo! I love that they can battle in the tunnels along the edge. VERRRRY cool.

FlatCon is without a doubt the best regional con out there. If you're at all close. . . or feel like driving, I highly recommend it!

A lot of great gamers down Bloomington way, Unfortunately I can't attend again this year… I'm so depressed…

We're always proud to Sponsor Flatcon, and what's great about it is that it embraces all types of games! Everything from minis to tabletop RPG to card games to Guitar Hero (something I fell in love with last year..hehe).
Last years attendance shows 460, which is a high point, hopefully this year will surpass it!

I have to agree with Ken. I was a FlatCon attendee before I opened the store and became a FlatCon Sponsor. It's where I picked up my Ogre-Gev minis hobby/addiction.

We've been drawing more people from our area to run games and attend, (there's a 100+ year inter-city rivalry between Peoria and Bloomington-Normal, I don't understand it but I not from here originally). If Peorians will go to B-N for something, it's got to be a good thing.

Amongst other games, guys who run/play at our store will be running a great aliens game, cowboys, and an awesome pirates board. The crew behind the Flames of War tournament play here occasionally and are a great bunch too. Don't want to slight any other volunteers, I just can't remember their games at the moment.
