I think I need to see this one painted.

It is painted. It's made of solid gold and stored at Fort Knox.

What scale are those Mechs?

Louie N14 May 2008 3:24 p.m. PST

The mech scale is aprox. = 1/300, 1/285, 6mm

They tend to be about 7-8mm in scale.

About 1.5-2" in actual height.

Very nice,
I use to love running the Thunderbolt
but the figure was soooo boring!

The T-bolt design has matured nicely. I use to buy 4 of each mech as they were released. The new designs from Wiz Kids kind of made me loose interest in continuing my collection. The old sculpts up until Dark Age had a look to them that made them fantastic yet not completely over the top. The new designs, way too Gundam influenced for my taste.

Quite a bit more dynamic than most of the BTech minis…but man, that's pricey. $12 USD for a 65 ton mech? Ouchie.

I know, cheaper than the old sculpt, which goes for a mint on ebay. :)

Many of the big guys go for that, particularly if they are multi-part. The light-weights get down to a bit over half that much.

Thanks for scale / size info. Would never have known from pic.

Seems far more detailed than the very-similar-in-look-but-maybe-twice-the-size SST CHAS troopers I have.

Thanks for the info Louie N.
