Must try harder.

What do you mean? We always accept constructive comments about our ranges.

I mean the sculpt seems "phoned in". The detail is soft, the anatomy of the horse is awful, the posing is weak and the juxtaposition of the protagonists fails to convey that they're supposed to be trying to kill each other.

There is no passion in the piece at all. IMO the sculptor (Chris?) needs to stop just going through the motions and put some heart in to his work, like he used to do.

Wow, that's harsh!

How?

If the sculpts get better, or the sculptor receives tasks he's more comfortable with, and puts more in to them as a result, I'd say that was a win.

I have to agree with Kev on the most recent sculpts.

Sorry, but how is it not harsh? Despite all you said above about how things might get better, it's more than a little unusual for sculptors to bash each others' work in a public forum like this. Opinions are opinions, and I did not say you were wrong (or right). Just harsh.

Because I was asked what I meant by "Must try harder". I said so.

Mithril were a large part of my childhood. Their miniatures have a large place in my memories and it really saddens me to see they way that the quality, in my opinion, has declined.
