Whoa! I've always wanted to do one of the smaller armies from this period, and the Catalonians are one of them. Very nice looking sculpts here. I painted up some 18mm OG as Danes a few years ago and they looked good and were quite a bit of fun to do. When my current project is finished I might looked into the WSS. |

Pity they are not done by AB but still very very nice. I have been avoiding the WSS as I never found a range that was quite right, I could be in trouble now… Will Fighting 15s have them shortly? |

Lots more on the way, as we say in our introduction on the web site. All the uniform information has been supplied by Capitan Games and Fighting15s already have them. Ian is casting them under licence, to help speed up delivery. I think those who are disappointed that they are not AB, will still be happy when they see the actual figures. Nic EUREKA MINIATURES |

I had no idea that such a range existed….. having said that, I'm only aware of the 28mm ranges and have never really looked at any other Eureka ranges in different scales…. evidently my mistake! Nic, you are a bad bad man! I shall just send Ian at Fighting 15s my bank account for a while then…. |

Also can I please vote for French next, so we can be getting on with the bad guys (It is Louis XIV and they are French, of course they are the bad guys) while you get the rest of the varied good guys done please. |

Ordered from Fighting 15s Friday lunchtime, arrived Saturday Morning….. Lovely figures, just lovely. What is next up? |

Are these true 18's and not just "bigish" 15's? I love 15's. |
FreddBloggs | 28 Mar 2015 10:31 p.m. PST |
Yes these are true 18mms. I suspect they would match the AB 18mms in size. |

If all goes to plan the Spanish are next up, then British and we will do the French after that. They are 18mm, which could mean big 15mm to some. A an example Old Glory 15mm SYW French, fit fine (this may seem an odd juxtaposition, but they are the only 15mm OG figures I have a sample of). Nic EUREKA MINIATURES |

I want to get a set of these but I've no idea about this period. If I were to build a battalion what figures would I need? I'd want a 32 man unit as I think this looks impressive, but I'm not bothered about basing for any particular rule set. I just fancy some of these lovely figures. So any advice as to the ratio of line, grenadier etc within one 32 man unit representing a battalion would be great. Colin |
