Looking forward to these! You had me at "limited casualties". I much prefer my wargames to have realistic casualty rates. |

That was one of the big things I am shooting for. Removing little dudes is fun but I always felt like it could be done in a different way and you could still have an impact on the enemy force. If you get close enough, things change of course but that's how things should work. |

I like keeping casualty rates realistic because stuff you read about becomes impossible to do on the table otherwise. How many real AAR's involve "multiple assaults on the enemy position before we took it"---but in gaming, one assault sees half your force dead and, probably, your turn/time allotment done! I have not yet played your Five Core series, though a buddy has bought the WWII version so we can play soon. |

Yeah, when every battle is Omaha beach it becomes a bit hard to play. Nice, hope you have a good time! |

I'm interested I play modern Iraq using Force on Force. I will watch for this. Almost went for 5 men in Normandy. |

You should totally still buy that ;) It's basically two different approaches though: Five Men is more of a character-driven skirmish. More "Combat" or war movies. This will be more of a military-feeling thing if that makes sense. It will have campaign rules and all that jazz though. Juggling how to set those up properly at the moment. |

I already have force on force been playing for several years. |

I meant "Five men in Normandy" :-) |
