The ragged base detracts from the figure, otherwise a nice figure.

Nice figure, but I thought the French wore the kepi on campaign.

A Kepi/cap conversion of some form will follow but having looked as much as possible at photos as well as other sources they appear to have had full dress with them atleast. Evidence on the French is a little sketchy (or atleast contradictory) while evidence on the Turks is simply hopeless. The best descriptions of Turkish Troops from contemporary sources is that they 'did not appear to have a uniform'.
