Looks good. I have one small query – why is the stretch goal elephant called an Oliphant? That's from Sam's poem in The Lord Of The Rings – Middle earth isn't Hyboria!! |

Because R.E. Howard wrote about oliphants before Tolkien did. |

link REH was more than likely referring to the musical instrument, not elephants. |

As cool as this looks, and it looks way cool, I wish the miniatures were unpainted. They look so great I would want to paint them myself. |

I know the IP of REH Conan stuff is a little fuzzy, but is there any sort of licensing on this? Cool looking and tempting though. |

this is the third Conan game within the last year . whoever owns the IP is certainly trying to cash in . |

I prefer the Frazetta, as well as others, older presentations of Conan and his world. Maybe I am old by modern reimagining's just don't appeal to me. |

I need to see the rules before I make any commitment. |

I wish that one could go in for a miniature or 2; I would like to pledge for the giant serpent, but not really interested in anything else, as I've got tons sitting at home. |

I thought the IP was bought about 5 years ago by Target Games/Paradox the computer game company who also own Chronopia or Warzone and a few other lines (and may be linked to Tradition). However there was a court hearing last year in the US about the owner of Conan IP going bust. But in May this year, Paradox sold its REH IP so an Arnie film could be made. link What I would like to know if the figures are 30mm hard plastic or D&D style 25mm soft plastic. |
