I received mine and it is a very useful source for anyone interested in the Mexican-American War. |

I got mine and I do agree. |

It's a great book, nice to see so much of Hefter's otherwise unavailable work available again. (Like I wasn't already painting enough Mexicans) Now if it had been a reprint of Hefter's 'El Soldado De Juarez, Maximiliano, y Napoleon' for the French Intervention, I would be in pig heaven. (Hint, hint) |

Dear gisbygeo, Let's see what we can do about that! You'll hear from me again on this. Meanwhile, thanks all for the kind words--and especially to the avalanche of sales I've had just today for this new title. I think I can see the second printing not far down the road. TVAG |

Dear All, A public thanks to my UK/EU Distributor, Mr. Nick Eyre of North Star for confirming receipt of his initial stock of "The Mexican Soldier." As as possibly less well known period for wargaming Over There, we hope that TMS will help throw some very helpful light on it and attract some of our British Cousins to explore this rich and romantic era in the history of the North American Southwest. Nick also carries several other TVAG titles, but if I have one he does not carry now, please ask him about it! TVAG |

I want to second GIZBYGEO's request! |

If you are under a certain age, this book may be unknown to you. I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to have this essential work available again to a new generation of gamers, painters and historians. If you have an interest or even think you may someday have an interest in this period of U.S. history, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy. |

I have mine and quite agree! My library is growing due to TVAG and I 2nd Cyrus's statements. While my currently working on the Sudan 1885, with this and other books on the period, it could easily become my next bunny!

Patrick, Will North Star ever be stocking the Mean Streets sets of buildings? |
| NickNorthStar | 14 May 2008 11:19 a.m. PST |
Hi Alan I hope to have Patricks full catalogue over here eventually, I'll look at the Mean Streets next. Thanks Nick |

Nick sounds good. I have to add several blocks to my collection but the shipping to the UK makes them very expensive. I prefer the preprinted rather than CDs as they are great quality. Any idea of a timescale? |

I have asked Nick in the past about John Company – I am sure it would be popular in the Uk (Actually I am not sure at all – it's just that I want it!!) |

to All Our UK Customers, Nick has been understandably cautious about investing too widely, too fast in TVAG's lengthening catalog, but the large majority of titles he has purchased to date seem to have done very well, selling out rather quickly and being retocked more often he first thought would be usual. It was a very encouraging milestone when Nick ordered his first stock of "The Mexican Soldier" even before it had gone to press. I hope his customers will reward his faith in this new title by buying from him and his own retailers as soon as possible. I hope that Nick will eventually lay in stocks of the various TVAG Flag Collections, as well as the range of card stock building sets such as "Mean Streets," "Mean Sets," "B'hoys Towne" and "Buffalo Chip." And, Dave, I'm with you! I think "John Company" might be very well received Over There, as should some of the other titles still to come. But until North Star can carry most or all of TVAG's exclusive product lines, your Mighty Pounds are still welcome on this side of The Pond! Patrick Wilson TVAG |
