Got mine, too. This is a smart move. I've been on the fence a while about getting some Quar. I think this will influence me and others to take the plunge. |

I bought mine years ago! (and the expansions!) Great Books! |
Dr Mathias | 27 Jun 2012 6:07 a.m. PST |
I bought mine quite a while ago, it's a really great set of rules. |
justBill | 27 Jun 2012 6:43 a.m. PST |

So, showing my ignorance here, but just what is the background/canon for the Aphids? What types of weapons are they using? Are they the same "period" as the Quar? They are very cool looking and going against my Eureka Sci-Fi Germans might be interesting. |
richarDISNEY | 27 Jun 2012 7:03 a.m. PST |
I have the book already. But a PDF would be handy. Downloading now

The Aphids are not related to the Quar. They fit in with the random space stuff ZS sells, or as a separate 15mm SF line. |
ajbartman | 27 Jun 2012 7:36 a.m. PST |
Great read! Worth the time and effort to download. |
BlackKnight | 27 Jun 2012 8:01 a.m. PST |
Wow. Very cool. I wish these cute anteaters would stop killing each other with nasty weapons. Now why don't I feel that way about humans? |
| TimHerr | 27 Jun 2012 8:14 a.m. PST |
This is great. Now I'll be ready if they ever expand their 15mm line to both sides of the conflict. |
Lion in the Stars | 27 Jun 2012 9:31 a.m. PST |
Cool! I'd still like to see Quar for both sides of the 15mm game. Now that I've read through the rules, I wish I had picked these up sooner

Lion in the Stars – I may make you very happy in around two week's time! |

Downloaded and had a quick read thru. I am totally hooked! As soon as the boss lifts the temporary purchasing restrictions I will be ordering some Quar! |
KJdidit | 27 Jun 2012 2:10 p.m. PST |
Thanks for making this available at no charge – appreciated! |

Well OK then. I guess I am now collecting Quar. Just flipping quickly through, this is a cool little book. Thank you for making this available. I see at least a couple companies worth of the little guys in my near future. |
MahanMan | 27 Jun 2012 2:27 p.m. PST |
*heavy sigh* You know, if it weren't for my health problems, I'd have gotten into these guys a while ago! This is just fuel to the fire of my regret! |

Just ordered and received a whole company of 15mm Crusader Quar. Now just need some Croftyn to fight. |
evilleMonkeigh | 27 Jun 2012 10:09 p.m. PST |
Once you go Quar, you never go back! The Song of Our Ancestors skirmish rules are also good if you prefer to use smaller amounts of 28mm Quar |
Dogged | 28 Jun 2012 12:05 a.m. PST |
Got it! Guess this Fall will be 15mm Quar
|

I wish these cute anteaters would stop killing each other with nasty weapons. You want them to kill each other with nice weapons?
Now why don't I feel that way about humans? That's because you know humans. Tim |

That's because you know humans. Brilliant. |
Andy Skinner | 28 Jun 2012 6:44 a.m. PST |
My son got me two companies of 15mm Quar for my birthday, as a summer project we'd do together. We've each almost finished a section, so we'll try out the half-sized rules in TQW soon. I'm relearning to take pictures of really small things (used to be good at taking Epic and Warmaster pictures), so these are blurry, but here are some of the pictures I have so far: link His uniforms are red, mine are navy blue. We'll have two squads and some weapon guys and an is-Caerten for the first battle(s). I also bought the PDF of Songs of our Ancestors, so we could have already fought squad vs squad games, but haven't. andy |

Read the first few pages and then just started flicking through to the letters and returns from Lorn and Ket – now Im hooked. Never been to big on any rules (never get round to playing any games anyway – always been a painter rather than a player) – its always the fluff that sells to me! Have always liked the figures but have resisted as I already have two or three lifetimes of unpainted figures already and they didnt seem to fit in with anything else. Oh well – as I do intend to live for at least five or six lifetimes – I should have a bit of spare time in the future. This will likely prove to be the best selling decision they have ever made! |
