Always loved Steve Saleh's stuff and these Spartans are no exception. Very tempting. Any guesses on the freebie fig? Looks like a Persian – I'm guessing its Mr Xerxes ready for a good kicking.

Very nice! I'm very much looking forward to some personalities.

I wish you would do hoplites in bell cuirass to go along with these.

Well, stay tuned. We should have some additional preview models up soon and some of the first group of Etruscans are fairly "generic" hoplites. Including some with cuirass.

I think, if you're an early Etruscan fan like I am, you'll be really impressed with what Steve is doing.

You're warm on that promo figure….

Thanks,
Dave

Guys,

I like the Celt/Gaul Druid and I might buy the Roman but . . . 2 figs!!!

Postage will be more than the price of the figs.

You need to offer a big enough range to allow me to spend a little money and make a unit or two.

Give them a little time to get going. ;)

I'm looking forward to what you have coming. I'm painting some Saleh pikemen from Gripping Beast now and love them.

Will anyone be stocking these in the UK? Postage from the US will be horrible!

I'd buy some from a UK distributor; I've been trying to get that Centurion for months!

Things are in the works for a UK Distributor. Announcement will be coming shortly.

We have come a long way in a short period of time but we still got a ways to go! Appreciate the feedback, support and comments.

Excellent!

Just found these pics of a painted Gorgon Spartan Unit on their website. I think these are the best painted greeks I have seen yet. Absolutely fabulous shields and great colour scheme (on some quality minis of course)

Those are from Bennett Blalock-Doane, an amazing young painter. You should check out some of his Games Workshop/Golden Demon stuff.

We also have Jamie Welling, another multiple-Golden Demon winner, working on some models.

Having good photos or unpainted, along with expertly painted, models is a huge priority for us. Seeing well-done versions of figures can be a huge inspiration, and we hope to do that.

Thanks again, everyone, for the comments. We won't let you down- we've got a lot coming down the pipeline.

Have a great 4th of July!

And, since the Hobby News seems a little jammed up, I thought I'd let you know that Gorgon will be at Historicon, represented by one of my personal favorite companies, Conquest Miniatures.

So have a great Historicon. I'm gonna try and get back in 2010.
