Those look nice. They may be on my "buy" list very soon!

I like that. If my calculations are correct, that is 22" of city block.

Novus Design Studio28 Jul 2014 1:14 p.m. PST

Thanks, Landorl.

79th PA, you are correct….city block is 22 inches in length.

RuLane28 Jul 2014 1:54 p.m. PST

Awesome. Now for a bigger house…

NICE. Look almost exactly like the old "Design Preservation Models" (now owned by "Woodland Scenics") line of US storefronts, etc. made for Model RRs. Only MUCH more "damaged".

I bought some of the 15mm Novus buildings at HCON. They look like they will work for 20mm, too.

Skeptic28 Jul 2014 5:04 p.m. PST

What material are they made of – resin?

Novus Design Studio28 Jul 2014 6:01 p.m. PST

Skeptic, yes, all of our products are made of resin.I should add a note to our website because I have no mention of the material used. Thanks.

Novus Design Studio28 Jul 2014 6:04 p.m. PST

pzivh43, thanks for purchasing our products. At HCON did you pick up some of the Normandy line or the urban ruin line? Just curious.

kalgaloth28 Jul 2014 6:10 p.m. PST

Wow. Surprised how expensive they are considering they are 15mm.

Weasel28 Jul 2014 8:44 p.m. PST

Those look super nice.

They indeed look nice, saw some at Historicon this year. Wondering if any plans to do non-ruins in 15mm in the future?

Novus Design Studio29 Jul 2014 5:05 a.m. PST

Marc33594, Yes, plans include intact as well as additional ruined structures in several scales. We are currently focused on bringing battle-damaged buildings to the market because that's what our customer base has been requesting.

Our next release will be a series of 4 battle damaged buildings in 28mm for Bolt Action. Release will include a factory ruin, perhaps a church and a couple of shops or houses-haven't finalized anything other than the factory.

I'm open to ideas….

Thank you for your post.

Please do more in your urban ruin line. Its great and fits a nice nicjhe for near future, off-world colony, post apoc, etc. Great stuff.

"Wow. Surprised how expensive they are considering they are 15mm."

I'm wondering what in the world you are comparing them to. All the JR Miniatures, Kerr and King, Fieldworks, and Mark IV (Musket) 15mm fare of similar size are all as expensive (or more in some cases). Heck, even the 4Ground wood structures are over $30. USD Granted, they are already painted but I find resin to look far better on the table than laser cut wood. YMMV, of course.

Overall I think Novus' stuff is priced very competitively and I will certainly be buying a good bit of it!

Novus Design Studio29 Jul 2014 7:54 a.m. PST

kenohhkc, that's part of the overall plan. Novus will continue to add ruined and intact models to every category we make (6mm, 15mm & 28mm) until there is a far greater selection for gamers to choose from.

Thanks!

nazrat, thanks for your comment. Pricing comparable products made by our competition is part of the costing formula we use to arrive at a retail price point. Our prices are competitive and we guarantee a 100% fill rate on orders.
