these look good. How about a link to the site.

From what I have read boxers avoided modern technology. I have wondered if they actually used rifles and artillery.

They didn't, and after the myth of enemy bullets turning to water was quickly established, any "Boxer" who picked up a rifle had no useful knowledge of how to use it.

All small arms and such artillery fire as were suffered by those in the Legations--Peking and Tientsin--came from "rogues" from among the Manchu Bannermen, or the Kansu Braves.

Elements of the experimental modern army formations were the primary forces facing both Peking relief efforts. There were Boxer Tuans all over the countryside from Tientsin to Peking, and large numbers of "volunteer" Chinese who joined the fighting but with little or no leadership.

As lovely as those figures are, calling the gunners and rifle armed figures "Boxers" would be inaccurate. However, no one ever said an Imperial gun crew might not strip down to serve their piece--it was a bloody hot late Summer as the fighting reached its climax.

True, "Boxer" might have been better to say Volunteer, their were many reports from the first relief force about being fired on by other than regular Chinese, but only small numbers. I have included them in the range for "what if" games or Pulp fiction option.
Their are gaps in the written history of this period, the Chinese were not wanting to remember it and the Europeans were vague about who they were fighting at times.

The artillery pieces look wonderful, and I will eventually order some. I'm ok having a few Boxer infantry with guns, but not nearly as many as those armed with blades and pole arms. Wondering if there are plans to make Chinese regulars and foreign powers as well.

Chinese regulars by March, if all goes well then British Light Marines.
