Some really nice looking figures. If they are sized the same as the other Tiger figures will work with Old Glory size wise (Tiger run a little taller and bulker). I mixed both Spanish American lines with some light modification.

Am I the only one who thinks these figures came out a decade too late? I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would try to compete with the Perrys (for 2nd Afghan War) and Empress (for the 3rd), particularly with second-rate sculpts of questionable accuracy (those Lee-Enfields don't exactly look like .303's, for example). Wouldn't it be better to just concentrate on areas nobody else does – which to Tiger's credit they also do.

As great as the Empress and Perry figures are, not everybody prefers that style of sculpt. I don't see why companies shouldn't do a particular period they are passionate about just because someone else does it.

Plenty of gamers prefer a 'chunkier' figure such as these as it suits their painting preferences.
I personally really like these and Tiger's other ranges.

In my own case, My Spanish American War collection is richer for the addition of the Tiger figures. I built both a mounted and foot Civil Guard unit as well as adding a few more (different) officers to my Spanish command.

I'm not sure how these match up to Perry or Empress, but if it is a near match different command figures are always welcome.

I may be wrong but by the late 19-teens weren't British infantry wearing short pants when posted to the Middle East and east of Suez? Or are they poorly sculpted?

Period photos show a mix.
