More nice figs from Red Box. I particularly like the Ravenna figure.

I bet these are over 30mm….*sigh*

So awesome, but I can't start buying them.

Could you do a few 28mm for me and the other fans sometime?

Looks pretty good to me. grin
I know nothing about fencing, but at least to my uneducated eye, she looks like she knows what she is doing.
Her armor also looks functional, instead of something to get her past the censors, and I also don't think she will hurt herself with her armor if she moves or twists.

30mm vs 28mm? Does it matter that much? Google "Alexis Skye".

Thanks John. That was teh effect I was goign for. And I based her stance on some SCA fighters I know who ar every good fencers.

Also I have never been a fan of sex pot / toy boy armour. If a character is goign to wear armour, it will be as functional as possible, though I do sculpt some spikey plate from tiem to time. ;)

As for the scale. When I say 32mm scale I mane that teh average human male figure is built on an armature that measures between 32 and 34 mm tall with both feet together and back straight. That means that their eye level is between 28 and 30 mm tall.

Elves are shorter and slimmer than humans, dwarves much more so, and gnomes even further.

Specifically Ravenna is built on 30 mm armature, her pose puts the top of her head at exactly 30mm and her eye level at precisely 28 mm.

The Keeper is a little tall ( intentionally ) standing 34 mm tall if he were standing straight. being bent he stands at precisely 32 mm tall.

GW figures though called 28mm scale are usually between 30 and 36mm tall. the proportions of my figures are somewhat " finer " than what the scale migth suggest as well. I get comment emails all the time from people sayign how pleasantly surprised they were to see that the figrues were actually smaller than they had expecetd.

That was my reaction as well (that they were more slender than they appeared to be in the pictures).
