They look great, I'm still waiting for the lately painfully slow Canada Post to bring me my book. Figures painted by Peter Dennis how can you go wrong?

These do look rather good. Does anyone know anything about the rules that comes with the book?

I'm planning on using Peter Pigs ECW rules.

Those look pretty cool.

Anyone in the US carrying these?

If printing them yourself how do you get front and back to match or don't you duplex print them?

Fonzie28 Apr 2016 6:23 p.m. PST

Too bad they don't have a downloadable PDF.

Allen 57. There was a video on YouTube by Peter Dennis showing how the minis are put together. It might be linked from the Helion website.

These are very interesting.

Are the figures on printed sheets which you then photocopy or on a CD?

Mention was made of up or down-scaling by use of a printer: perhaps it would be simpler if the original sheets are scanned onto a PC and then printed off?

I might want to up-scale to perhaps 54mm: would I lose any quality of definition by doing so?

Hello Alan and all,

the book will be available from Casemate USA and the Helion website here

we also have just started a regular blog about the 'paperboys' as we call them- you can find that here

The figures along with all the rules and the terrain are included in the book on high quality paper. You can of course print them off or scan them too

I think you will lose some definition if you were to scale up to a large scale such as 54mm

Many thanks for the helpful replies.

I am looking forward to the War of the Roses and would also be interested in the Crusades and Samurai armies.

I could never really justify the expense of raising metal armies for these periods but paper would allow me to do so inexpensively.

War of the Roses in the autumn, and maybe Italian Wars in the pipeline, I think Samurai armies maybe be stretching it, but who knows???

Read the post Thursday night and ordered the book through Amazon UK. It arrived this morning :-)

Artwork and production values are first rate,be a shame to separate the pages so will probably get another copy.

Problems with my hands has me thinking about paper models more and more so these were a Godsend. Can't wait for the rest in the series.
