You know..if I had these in 20mm I would lose my mind completely. Arguably still one of the best influential ranges in scifi. |

Where are these on the website? When I visit there I get stuck in a loop trying to find them. I have a bunch of these from my college days and would like to add to them. |

From the very press notice you are responding to… "As always, this Spacelords release is not available from the EM-4 website. To order this, or any other Spacelords product, email: enquiries@EM-4miniatures.com. A full list of currently available Spacelords can be found here. For a PDF with photos of the range, go here." |

Why aren't they available on the website? It seems weird that instead of being on EM4's website I have to click on various links and order through their email. |

These got me into miniatures gaming and the Wartech are my favorites. They are also the reason I never switched to 15mm. |

There was no plan to release them via em4 so I've decided to release them as a private venture, outside of the main em4 product lines. Doug em4miniatures |

Scrub, they're a larger 25mm/smaller 28mm "scale." They will when based appropriately fit right in with pretty much anything out there right now, even Games Sweatshop's Imperial Guard. These are simply wonderful figures. You can see quite a few on my personal blog painted up: blackwidowpilot.blogspot.com
Hope this helps!

Great stuff, Doug – looks like my hobby budget is going to get stretched again! Always a pleasure to see more of your painted Spacelords too, Leland. And with figures like this in 28mm, I've never felt the urge to shift to 15mm, either. Of course, my failing eyesight might have something to do with that too! |

Are all these figures something that will be available in general or is it a limited time thing? |

The one on the left with a weapon in each hand looks like Ronald Reagan. How cool is that! |

Are all these figures something that will be available in general or is it a limited time thing? No, it's not limited; they are now on the permanent list: link When I start to put information, news and updates on the Facebook page that has just been created (I'm new to the FB world so I'm still getting my head round the best way to use it) – the situation will become even clearer… Doug |

Just curious but what's the vintage on these figures, Doug? They remind me of some old Citadel figures I got back in the 80s (when Citadel were a separate entity from GW and both companies regularly imported other lines from abroad) which is a good thing; tempted to get some whether they are related or not if only for the nostalgic feeling they evoke in me :) |

Bob, these are late 80s to early 90s IIRC. I remember reviewing them back in the day for the WH40KRT fanzine Inquisitor (and ordering a small mountain of them when Wargames, Inc. imported them). To my eye they struck me as being inspired by the artwork of the late, great Mobeus, down to the numerous external details and gear festooned all around their armor suits. The whole line is worth a close look IMHO, as the quality of sculpting is really solid even now after so many years. Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net

Bob Can't disagree with what Leland says (and thanks for the input, Leland). They have no connection with Citadel but any similarity in style is probably down to when they were first sculpted. They were originally from Metal Magic and all the sculptors were German. Doug |

Doug, my pleasure, really, as you've brought back this most excellent line of figures for everyone to enjoy. BTW, when will you be releasing the other Yoydyne Shigaru poses? I need some more HMG gunners… Leland R. Erickson Metal Express metal-express.net

when will you be releasing the other Yoydyne Shigaru poses? I need some more HMG gunners… I can't give you a timeline, Leland. I'm hopping from category to category so as to (hopefully) find something for everyone. Currently aiming to get a few Wartech codes out and then…? I'll look for suggestions – maybe via the Facebook page when I'm ready to unleash it on an expectant world. Doug |

Yes indeed, some more wartech (the dudes with pistols please!) and bunkerbreakers would be perfect. Then I can put them all in one order… |
