Nice figures but not my period of interest. |

Beautiful figures! I am certain that many of us who already have Eureka 18mm Mexican-American War figures will be interested. Size is very similar. While the Blue Moons have less variety of poses than Eureka, they appear to be far more durable and sturdy over the long run. |

These look nice but what always puts me off buying Blue Moon are the flag poles. Is it possible to remove these telegraph poles and replace them with an in-scale wire one without destroying the hands? Or perhaps they could offer a with pole/without pole option like some manufacturers do with molded colours/bare poles. |

I would like to see this very incomplete line expanded; hopefully the light infantry and Presidio cav are on the way. |

"These look nice but what always puts me off buying Blue Moon are the flag poles" Unlike earlier Blue Moon releases, the newer sculpts are different: the poles below the upper hands are now thin -- only the part above is thickened for durability, and will be covered by the flag. Chris |

Chris, Thanks for the info – I may well give them a try. |

Oh, I like the Volunteer infantry. More uniform options to paint up my Volunteers. Now that I have everything I need for Palo Alto I have been working on expanding both sides with Militia/Volunteer units to fight some of the later battles. Chris |

I love this period, but have yet to find the right set of rules for it. BWW |

Looks possible for Seminole Indian war. |

I would prefer the flag poles be heftier. The AB ACW stuff I have bought have the thinnest flag poles and weapons you could ever imagine. Sure, they are "accurate", but they are horribly fragile on the table! |

I like the heftier flagpoles as well, even though I always drill out the hands and use brass wire for the flags! The bigger flagpoles mean I ruin less figures with the drill bit. |

I would like to see this very incomplete line expanded; hopefully the light infantry and Presidio cav are on the way. That could recall me to the MAW gaming arena. |

nice figures and an interesting period… but the huge hands carrying the telephone poles is a bit off-putting. |

I can attest to the durability of these Blue Moon figures and high quality of sculpting done by Chris Hughes. I have over a thousand Blue Moon ACW figures painted, based, and with plenty of rough handling in multiple tabletop games. No broken bayonets or flagpoles to report … and nobody has ever made a comment about the size of the hands of standard bearers or width of the flagpoles, ever. Thanks Russ for providing a very fine product. Don |
