I would love to be able to attend, but the transport alone from Maine would run me between $1,500 USD-$2000 R/T. Then add food and hotel, plus the temptation of all the cool stuff, and it's just a little out of reach right now. Sigh. Something on the East Coast, say Washington, DC would be good if it could be done. Especially if it's off-season when the hotel rates are lower. |

I am really looking forward to this. For years I have seen advertisements for wargaming events on the east coast or overseas wishing that I had the time and/or money to attend. Now for the first time in 30 years I will have time off in the summer and this event is only 40 minutes away. I certainly plan on going and I will spread the news concerning this opportunity to my friends in the area. Is anyone else planning on attending? Kevin |

Well, I can double down on this. Son and his family live in OKC, so I'll probably go, even though it is 16 h away. OTOH, my wife will want to stop in St Louis on the way and get a supply of Napoleon's from the Dierberg's store I use to frequent. |
