Yup. And part of the story plot line and some of the characters for the first film were derived from/inspired by Akira Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress. When the film critics back in the day equated C3PO and R2D2 to Laurel and Hardy, I always smiled as I knew they were far more of the two greedy Ashigaru from Hidden Fortress than Stan and Ollie… As for these figures, now I have an excuse to finish mine up and post some photos… and soon. Well as someone with a Samurai/fantasy/scifi cross over army these are just the ticket.I also love the Spacelords stuff -double happy. |
