Beautiful – do I get one set of all of them or one for each army? Need to wait for the oven to purchase all in one go I think – cheaper on postage that way. |

according to an article in the periodical Mars in 1805 – those armies who issued ryebread it was 2 pounds and entirely of rye, France used however also wheat in the proportion one quarter of wheat to 3 quarters of rye. the usual issue was bread and not Zwieback |
