Are the shields separate?

Yes, They are :)

I think you need a new 28mm painter.

Half man and half horse and they are hung like…..well….not a horse. Life isn't fair apparently, not even in fantasy land.

I think the paint jobs are servicable, the bases on the other hand..

Deathwing04 Jan 2013 4:52 p.m. PST

By the way, they are nice minis.

I like the paint jobs, shows me how they'll look after I paint them.

Great looking centaurs. I will have to add them to my 28mm forces.

Are the figures single-piece, other than the shields?

@ Editor- No, One of them is a torso split and an arm.
The other has a arm on the sprue. I'll try and get a piece shot.

Those look gorgeous!

But I agree, the paintjobs are lacking a certain elan…

I think they look interesting.

Although I prefer Greek Centaurs – they have better table manners.

They remind me of the chaos troops from battlemasters. That is a good thing BTW, as I would say these are the first Centaurs that I would even think of buying.

Again, these are well done figures and will go very well with the minotaur Mike has previously released from Jason Wiebe.

Stratos,
Sorry to render your LOL obsolete but I decided to be professional and courteous. :)

@David – you still have me laughing out loud! :)
