True. Miniature Building Authority used to offer bocage as one big clump cast out of resin (I have a bunch of those and think they're great), but now companies are going for a more "natural" look where you have a low berm topped by some trees like those you would see in train dioramas. Because the berm isn't high enough and the trees on top have large gaps between them, they look pretty sorry as bocage representations.

Why can't you use these kits for 20mm seems like they would be a better height in 20mm than they would in 28mm were they look a little short next to those miniatures.

I bought some of these from Amazon and had no problem making the combined berm and foliage 50mm high with the materials in the kit which is 10' to 12' in scale.

In theory Mr Rupert, but depends on the size of the gate etc, any animals would be incorporated into my 28mm stuff!,
