They look a bit small for 1/285. And how much are these things?

Mokman01 Jul 2015 5:23 p.m. PST

The miniatures in the picture are from the Robotech Tactics game (nominally 1/285). I think you can judge the size of the buildings pretty well from them. A bundle of all four buildings shown is available at a discounted price of $70 USD ($15-$30 individually).

Damn! Would love to see these in 15 mm.

I really like this idea.

I recon the sky scraper is at least 120-150mm on one side. I bet the whole thing is 12-14" tall.

the models are on round 40mm bases, as a size reference. The Valkyrie on the right is almost 2" tall and the Phalanx(bt Longbow) on the left is about 1 5/8" tall.

Mokman01 Jul 2015 10:49 p.m. PST

You are indeed correct. The 3in1 Century Tower (tall one on the left) is 26 stories high and about 14". It is about 4" a side. Have a look at it on the website for more information on how the sections can be split to make two other configurations. The Corporate Office (smallest on the right with the curved front) is 8 stories high and about 4.25". The Central Hospital is 11 stories high at its tallest and the Pagoda Tower 16 stories. I am currently working on 5 story and shorter buildings that are not tall enough to completely block LOS to models the size of those (Battle pods are approximately 5 stories tall).

15mm buildings are not out of the question, but at that scale anything more than a couple stories high is going to get pretty big pretty fast. What game do you play in 15mm that you could use buildings for?

This is 15mm (or 1/100th) struggling with roughly 1/150th (10mm?) scale buildings.

Go 15mm wink

What John said.

kallman02 Jul 2015 9:43 a.m. PST

Yes what John said and you could also use city buildings for Tomorrow's War, Gruntz, Star Grunt II, and just about any Science Fiction war game setting in 15 mm.

And what kallman said.

We need a "Like" button. 😃
Great terrain, all around.

The best "Like" button is the "Add to cart" button in the webstore. ;) But thank you of course for the kudos.
