I've built the 15mm versions of sets #1 and #2. They look quite good, are easy to assemble, and provide a variety of buildings that fit in not only with Spain and Italy. They would not look out of place in a Spanish Main game.

I see this range as suitable for Spain and Italy so it should be fine.

The large cross on the front of the church tower and the round arch on top of the front of the gate building are very Spanish imo.
