These look very much like the EM4 scavenger from Combat Zone. I believe they have them in plastic too .

Yeah. Forlorn has them listed under Combat Zone and they are EM4 in metal. These particular sculpts are not available in plastic as far as I know (or if they are EM4 doesn't sell them in plastic).

EM-4 sells the plastic sprues of cops and gangers from the game Combat Zone.

Forlorn has taken over selling the metal figures from EM-4. I believe they are old Copplestone.

TwinMirror18 Dec 2014 12:30 p.m. PST

Yep. These are completely different sculpts form the plastic gangers – it's just that EM4 used both sets to illustrate its Combatzone game. Both Forlorn Hope and EM4 are great Companies to deal With – quality stuff at a good price and great service.

Copplestone sculpts, but not 'Copplestone miniatures' releases.

They were sculpted for Grenadier miniatures, for their BRILLIANT 'Kill Zone' skirmish game.

After KZ folded, Mark continued to expand the miniature range under his own label.
The earlier 'Grenadier' releases remained available from eM-4 (nice one, Doug!) and now they reside at Forlorn Hope.

The plastic 'Combat Zone' figures were from a different system entirely, but are/were also available from eM-4.

Anywhere one can get them in the US?

Weasel18 Dec 2014 12:53 p.m. PST

The paint jobs remind me a lot of the Desert Punk anime show. Nice figures.

I remember KillZone – played it at Salute! back when it was in Kensingon and bought a copy. Must dust it off.

Just a minor clarification. Forlorn Hope (long may they prosper) are supplied with these by em4. The range is also still available from em4 directly. Both companies market them in slightly different ways. It's the Fantasy Warriors range that are now a Forlorn Hope exclusive.

Not for the first time today, I wish there was a way to "like" posts on TMP so I could give a nod of thanks to everyone who educated me in this thread. :)

Gary at Forlorn Hope Games offers fast service at a very reasonable cost. Thumbs waaay up, as they say.

These venerable figs are so old, but the sculpts are as great now as they ever were. Truly timeless sculpting. I hope you folks sell loads.

Yeah Mr Copplestone did a great job on these, back in around the late 90's…. Early Naughties.

BeneathALeadMountain19 Dec 2014 4:00 a.m. PST

Bought these from (what I think I remember as) a Virgin Megastore in the Nineties. Still good sculpts, much like everything Mr.C does.

PapaSync19 Dec 2014 7:23 a.m. PST

Took a peek into my old Combat Zone box and totally forgot that I have them (maybe that's why they were so familiar to me). Now I've got the itch to find me some Necromunda terrain and bust out the CZ again.

Not to mention finish painting a few of them up.

Well said Doug ;-)

Thanks everyone, they are great figures, when I started dealing with Doug I saw these and took a double take… I bought them 20+ years ago from the man himself :-) Everytime I look at them I am reminded that they still stand up against anything sold today.

We ship to the US and although shipping varies based on how much you buy, if you spend over £20.00 GBP then each of these figures works out at £1.80 GBP (can't be bad).

Very cool. Photos are kind of blurry

Darkoath20 Dec 2014 9:18 a.m. PST

Yes I agree with what is said… beautiful miniatures like these are timeless!

D for Dubious21 Dec 2014 6:53 a.m. PST

I got some of these via EM4 and they came pre base coated which was great as you charge straight into the painting. The the little details on them were just fantastic.

Privateer4hire21 Dec 2014 4:23 p.m. PST

Papa Sync, if you can find a good discount on Mantic's terrain for Deadzone (District or Sector are a good amount of terrain) they do super nice for Necromunda/Combat Zone.
