Are these a stand-alone set of rules that can be bolted on to any spaceship combat rules set, like Full Thrust, for example?

They're stand-alone ground combat rules. Each stand represents a company or multi-platoon detachment, with battalion-sized maneuver units of 2-4 stands and up to 2 additional detachment stands.

They work well in conjunction with any starship combat games as a way to resolve planetary invasions in a linked space-ground scenario or campaign game.
