Manchester's pretty close. If I hadn't already given up and sold all my painted Epic stuff, I'd be positively thrilled by this.

Wonder if the organizers are connected with the guys who tried running E:A at Council of Five Nations a few years back?

Well like the PDF says, if you'd like to borrow an army we can see what can be arranged. We're trying to have a good time and drum up some CT interest, as a fellow gamer and I get together about once a month at the Time Machine for a game.

I've never heard of the Council of Five Nations, where's it located?

I just wish this was a little closer to PA…

Rusty, I've got a guy coming up from PA. If you want to send me an email (it's in the PDF) I can see if he's close to you. He's an avid player, in fact he was the guy behind the new Raiders fan supplement.

Small con in the Albany-Schenectady region of NY, organized by the Schenectady Wargamers Association:

To be honest, I wouldn't try sceduling Epic there if I were you. The event I mentioned above was a total flop…the three organizers were the only ones who actually showed up to play, and they'd allowed for something like 16 players. The con organizers were less than thrilled about it, no Epic event is ever going to get that kind of space again.

Good luck on yours, though. I'm not a fan of playing "borrowed" armies, but I might show up to watch if I have the day free.
