Its very impressive work indeed – only one thing that sort of makes me go hmmm – 3 officers and only 1 other rank. I would have preferred the mix to be opposite. But I am not trying to be critical it is a work of art – well done the guns crew! Shawn |

Would the officers have crowded together like that, if they always used to say "don't bunch" ! |

Are we going to get a German version. My uncle Adolf could do with having his final moments immortalised. |

Tin hat. It is based on the final scene of a tv show in the UK. 'Blackadder goes forth' A tragi-comedy. This scene was very poignant and depicts 3 main character Officers and a batman, Baldric. Watch the scene on you tube. youtu.be/vH3-Gt7mgyM |

Vimy, I saw the same thing, 3 officers and only 1 soldier. I thought at that time the officers lead from the back and not the front. But that could have been the higher ranks in the back. Oh, I didn't know it was based from a show. |

"I thought at that time the officers lead from the back" Not in the British Army. It's how we lost so many -- at one point in the war the life expectancy of a private was 3 months but that of the 2nd lieutenants leading them was only six weeks… |
