Sounds interesting! Love the Robot Queen! |

Really looking forward to the Retro Rocket rules – Blasters & Bulkheads works well for the genre, but something custom-designed for maximum pulp can't hurt. |

What a wonderful homage to "Metropolis". OK I am very curious about this line of minis and the rules. |

That's an 'instant classic'. Really beautiful miniature
makes me want to get it and devise some new type of army to go along for the ride. |

John has outdone himself this time! :-) In our Fantastic Worlds campaign I expect she will be another member of Drang's "Ex-wives club" (When he tires of them they are executed and their brains put into robot bodies to command his robot legions
) |

Why would robots need a gender? Why do I have the feeling that her majesty's creator was a lonely mad scientist who just couldn't make it with flesh-and-blood women? ;) Just kidding, it looks great! |
Hydra Studios | 09 Jul 2012 6:18 p.m. PST |
Mutant Q: You're describing her background exactly. She is a female robot, complete with full emotions, created by a scientist as the "perfect woman." When the scientist falls in love with a real flesh and blood woman, Mechanika goes nuts. Hell hath no fury like a (robot) woman scorned! |

Oh wow. Very Metropolis. I love it. I sent an order off to Matt the other day and am thrilled that he is including this fig in the order. I have no actual use for her right now, but by golly I will think of one. She needs a place in my army – perhaps as the God Queen of the Valkerie? Or perhaps she can lead a robot revolt (in my game robots are still man's loyal servants). Of course I'd need to buy more figs to make that work – and what are the chances of that happening? In any event, I am thrilled Hydra is releasing more stuff and I will search for ways of incorporating them into my games. My entire foray into SF was inspired by Hydra and Retro Raygun: TMP link |

Hail Hydra! Buy some minis, more new ones will take their place! |

Yeah, but what about Primal Dawn? |

This is timely, my parcel from Hydra has just arrived on my desk with the morning post. As well as the lovely Queen there are two other new robots in the pack. They are similar to the basic robot trooper, but have Centurian pistols and heads, and a snazzy backpack with an aerial. I am pretty sure they will replace my current NC-ROs, which are just troopers with a new paints scheme. And there were some Starburst lollies as well. They will be finished long before the painting will. Thanks so much Matt. |

"And there were some Starburst lollies as well. They will be finished long before the painting will." So Hydra's been bribing customers with candy? Devious sir, devious. Great work as always. I'm really looking forward to picking up some of the new stuff at Gen Con. Will the new Valkeeri be ready by then? |

Sometimes it is Tootsie Rolls – though summer transit time in Texas turns them into putty. |

I am looking to the new Valkeeri support troopers. Will there be war dogs? |
Hydra Studios | 10 Jul 2012 5:39 a.m. PST |
We have plans for additional Valkeeri models by the year's end: Named characters and beast handlers. I'm not sure if they'll be dogs--I'm leaning towards something more catlike. |

beautiful sculpt. |

Absolutely fantastic miniature. And the War Rocket rules are excellent too! Well done! |

Now that's a fembot! Lots of good news. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to Retro raygun! |
