Wow, sad that some resort to shady means.

Let's be careful here. We only have one side of this story. The owners of Battle Models have said they will not be responding online to any of these postings.

I have no inside info and I don't have a dog in this fight. But let's let the courts settle it out, not semi-anonymous internet postings.

Marc, you know my respect for you. But if you have to wait for a judge to speak every time for someone make pirate figures, we're lost.
In addition this also happens here. If Battlemodels or Capitan games, respond Who gave them permission to reproduce my miniatures, I just have to get the screen to the Judge. They will not write anything because they can not, anyway one more time.
Do Capitan Games or Battlemodels have someone's permission to casting my miniatures? It's easy, a monosyllable, yes or no.

Does anyone really believe that I carry out this fight on a whim?

Am I the only one who has no idea what this is all about? I wish there were some background information.

No, Bobgnar, you're not!

Lots of explaining, but trying to summarize.
Two Spanish companies manage to obtain a contract for the transfer of exploitation rights of my miniatures, by very, very mafia methods. But that's another story.
These two companies breach the contract in several of its clauses and I put a lawsuit. In Spain, when breaking a commercial contract you must go to the courts and the judge must break that contract (or not) and, in this case, set compensation, if applicable.
Both Spanish companies are closed. This automatically returns the rights to me. But a judge must ratify it.
But they appear in the UK, two companies formed by one of the Spanish partners and others (British one, the rest I do not know what nationality), but this does not matter. And they form a company, casting all the miniatures (3300) that I sculpted.
The Spanish companies could not assign the rights without my participation, according to a clause of the contract, and have declared to the judge that they have not ceded the rights to anybody, and nobody asked me anything.
Therefore these companies Capitan games LTD and Battlemodels LTD, are illegally reproducing my miniatures.
But this is not all, you can see not only in this forum, but in many others, in many post, that the quality of reproduction of the miniatures is lousy.
This is little more than a headline. The story is long and full of debatable acts.
Best wishes.

A real mess. I do hope it gets resolved soon, as my most of my Napoleonic French are these figures. They're very nice and I would love to expand my forces with the original figures, to keep the look of my army the same.

Well, I think it's just a matter of a little time.
