Just a suggestion:

The Game Manufacturer's Association (GAMA) has a program in place that does just that: games to the troops.

For other items such as toiletries, food and snack items, articles of clothing, books and magazines allow me to suggest anysoldier.com. Unit leaders put in requests for certain items and the flat rate priority boxes are very convenient. Cards and letters are always welcome and a big hit. It will boost their morale and YOUR morale. Happy Holidays!
