Are there any articles or books that spot light their battlefield actions? |

Great vehicle and model, and another plea for the Saracen apc please. |

Malaya was the big hunting ground for them in British service, Aden as well. The Aussies also used the turret on top of M113s. |

They were fighting against Iraqi forces in Kuwait City in 1990. Many actions with these vehicles. |

The paint job is terrific; the 'wear' to the vehicle's paint is very convincing. |

I would hope for a "Saracen" as well. I recall a video clip CNN played over and over showing a "Saladin" in Kuwait City during the 1990 invasion firing from a traffic circle at the invaders. The clip was taken from above from what I assume was a tall building. |

Also useful for Cold War Gone Hot type scenarios, as used by the Royal Yeomanry and Queens'Own Yeomanry in BAOR up until the mid 1980's in the Infantry Div Armoured Recce role… |

Fantastic model. Almost too good to use for wargameing. |

OK – dumb question, but one that's bothered me ever since I built a Tamiya 1/35 model of an M113 fire support with the same turret 30 years ago – what the hell is that round thing on the back of the turret (the one that looks like a wheel rim, but probably isn't)? Doug |

Hocklermp5 – they also make a Saracen. Lots of British and Russian vehicles on their site. |

Does anyone in the US carry HLBSC? Oddball…Thanks for the info on the "Saracen". Much appreciated. |
hocklermp5 | 30 Mar 2015 6:57 a.m. PST |
Norrins…HLBSC has 1/48 "Scorpion", in fact they have others on the same chassis. |
FreddBloggs | 30 Mar 2015 9:45 a.m. PST |
Oooh they sneaked the Saracen out, listed beneath the Saladin so possibly just as new. Now Stalwarts and FV432s please and I will stop bugging. |

It looks like a short version of a PUMA. |

Much better than that, it is an elongated Daimler Armoured Car. |
