I've really enjoyed both Rank & File and (especially) March Attack from Crusader, and I look forward to seeing this set. It helps that the scale is exactly my own "home scale" for larger games! :) |

Hi I would be interested to know how the 'Orders' phase works … written or pip's? IMO Crusader do produce nice rules, whatever the mechanism. |

I bought them, but doubt if I will use them. Not sure how you go through 80 years of warfare (French Revolution to 1870) without skirmishers being present. Had some problem reconciling the ground scale to 1,000 man unit on 80mm frontage. Chad |

I have tried these rules and they are nice and very straightforward to play. They also give an excellent feel for the periods that I am into, Napoleonic, Austro-Prussian and Franco-Prussian Wars. J |
