They look really nice,
I'm hoping that the super 40mm detail
may hook my wife. She's often commented on
wargaming this period.

Are Trident available in the UK?

Man, these do look good, though. Sheeesh, yet another scale…at least I'm over 2mm, though.

What scale would 40mm be? Are there other 40mm manufacturers? Aside from theoretically more detail, what other benefits does 40mm offer?

Sash and Saber does 40mm in AWI, ACW, Napoleonics, Pirates, F&I, Vikings, Plains War, ECW, Alamo, and much more to come in the next year. It is the most complete line with Line Infantry, Command, Cavalry and Artillery. Plus, the price of Sash and Saber 40mm run about the same price as most 25mm ranges $2.00 USD to $2.50 USD for infantry.

I've got a few of their Robin Hood line. I quite like them. Few mold lines, no flash, and nicely animated.
