I understood the British regiments didn't carry standards at Saratoga. Nice figs though.

Because it was too difficult to carry those tree trunks around? ;-)

(You may have guessed that I prefer open hands in which to glue wire to carry colours for just these aesthetic reasons.)

They had flags, they didn't have flags -- for the person that wants them they are in the pack.
Then cut the pols out, drill and pin -- for the person that cannot or does not want to do that the pole is provided. also, most of the pole will be covered by the flag itself.
Glad you like the figures boys.

Russ,
The figures are amazing and I can't wait to pick some up.
There are gripes about anything!

GREAT JOB AND KEEP IT COMING!

Chin up Russ, they are fantastic, like 7th says keep em coming ! Between you and me are there anymore AWI planned at any point ? Marching militia, Brunswick dragoons ? please ?

Russ, yes, the design of the colour bearer looks like it will make the task of cutting-away the existing pole an easy job that won't spoil the rest of the figure. I've botched a couple in the past where the pole joined the torso (I don't recall what manufacturer – it was many years ago). And I was only teasing – I know you can't please everyone because we all have our own preferences. :-)

Russ,

These are very nice figures! It is exciting to see these. The Royal Artillery can serve in other theaters too because it is my understanding they started cutting their hats down to caps in other campaigns as well.

I love that the officers have cocked hats while the men have caps. That is a nice detail consistent with some contemporary paintings and reflecting a real campaign look.

Do you know if there will ever be any Blue Moon AWI specific casualty markers coming out in the future?

And, some winter campaign figures would be great also. Always wished that the F&I line had been filled out to fight some of the ranger snow patrols.
